The Stage for Learning Class Act Award Program was implemented to recognize the hardwork and dedication of teachers who have spent countless hours creating and maintaining a classroom website to benefit their students and their families, as well as fellow educators. If you know a site that is a "Class Act", then please send me an email so that I can check it out!

Andrea Abuyo, Third Grade, Meadowmere Elementary, Grandview, Missouri
Ms. Abuyo's website has a wealth of information for students, parents, and educators. She is continually striving to build school spirit.
Amy Straus, Fifth Grade, Central Academy, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Ms. Straus' website actively involves students in technology by showcasing student work, participating in weekly challenges, and blogging.

Jessica Winston, Second Grade, Elizabeth Scott Elementary, Chester, Virginia
Ms. Winston's website has become a resource for fellow educators looking for reading and language arts activities. She is so creative that her website's theme changes on a monthly basis.

Jenny Haynes, Second Grade, Woodland Elementary, West Chester, Ohio
Mrs. Haynes' website keeps students and parents informed about classroom happenings. Mrs. Haynes' enjoys communicating with fellow educators to share resources to promote student learning.

Kim McBride, First Grade, Strausser Elementary, Massillon, Ohio
Mrs. McBride's website is kid, parent, and teacher friendly. It has something to offer everyone. She has spent countless hours searching for beach related items to tie her classroom theme together.
Charlotte Jackson, Second Grade, Pine Tree Elementary, Longview, Texas
Mrs. Jackson has researched and selected many links for teachers to prepare for school themes, units, projects, activities, and thematic studies.
Francie Hughes, Third Grade, St. Thomas More School, Denver, Colorado
Mrs. Hughes designed her website to improve communication with parents, fellow teachers, and adminstrators. Check out her "Mistakes Let You Learn" section where former students provide advice for a successful school year.
Sylvia Buller, Fourth Grade, Resurrection Catholic School, Lancaster, PA
Mrs. Buller provides students with enrichment and skill-building opportunities in all subject areas needed to be successful in school. Her Pennsylvania Scrapbook and Scavenger Hunt is a great way for students to brush up on state facts!
Susan Dravo, Second Grade, Woodland Elementary East, Gage Lakes, Illinois
Mrs. Dravo has worked hard to create a website that is inviting to students, parents, and teachers.

Mrs. O'Mara's website is successful because she uses it as a reflection of her passion for teaching. She frequently updates her site with photos so that visitors can see her classroom.

Ms. Fiorini's website has many wonderful downloads for teachers as well as enriching links for students to practice important skills at home. It is because of great teachers like Sandy that I was inspired to create my own classroom website.

Mrs. Howard's website is a valuable resource for students and their parents. Her site is updated on a regular basis and includes links for many games to reinforce skills in the classroom.

Ms. Carter's website keeps students and their parents coming back week after week. She has even included a section for parents to provide her with feedback so that she can meet the needs of all of her students and their families.
